St Rita’s Nursing Home

  • St Rita’s was purpose built in 2001 to accommodate Casson Homes Inc residents who require high care residential services.
  • St Rita’s has all the services of the bigger homes but still maintains the old fashioned care and personal touch of home.
  • Registered Nurses are on duty 24hrs with nursing assistants.
  • Services provided also include Laundry, Food, Physiotherapy, Aromatherapy, Podiatry, Doctors Visits and Occupational Therapy.
  • All meals are cooked on site by a qualified catering staff
  • St Rita’s is located within 100m of local shops and transport services.

Casson House

  • Casson House accommodates 70 residents who have a history of mental illness. Casson House also has annexe accommodation for trial residency.
  • Casson House has spacious rooms and tranquil gardens and is located a short walk from North Perth shops.
  • Services provided include nursing services 24hrs, Laundry, Food, Physiotherapy,
  • Aromatherapy, Podiatry, Doctors Visits and Occupational Therapy.
  • Casson House has a long relationship with the Board of Visitors and residents have access to counselling services.
  • Many of the residents attend community outings or sheltered workshops.

Woodville House

  • Woodville House offers the country lifestyle for 25 residents. Tucked away on a 1.5 acre property in Helena Valley but still close to all amenities.
  • Single storied building with plenty of tranquil gardens
  • All nursing, laundry and food services are available and doctor visits regularly

 

Matilda Gard Services

  • Matilda Gard offers backpacker style accommodation for women and children only
  • No drugs and alcohol and No Disruptive Behaviour Policy in place

ACCOMMODATION PRICING INFORMATION

St Rita’s Nursing Home is a not for profit facility that provides residential care for people who are living with a mental illness. St Rita’s Nursing Home is located in North Perth. It was purpose built by Casson Homes Inc. to accommodate residents whose care needs required specialized services.

The home includes single rooms and shared twin rooms with shared ensuites. The home is one complex with 6 wings. Each wing has common lounge, dining and courtyard.

We provide a range of services including

  • 24 hours care by registered nursing staff
  • Mental Health Services
  • Occupational and Physiotherapy Individualized Programs
  • Hospitality Staff – Onsite Cooking by Qualified Chef

The Government will pay an accommodation supplement for residents who are assessed as supported/concessional through an income and assets test. Depending on your circumstances the Government will pay either all, part or none of your accommodation payment

ACCOMODATION PAYEMENT OPTIONS

 There are three payment options to choose from:

  1. Daily accommodation payment (paid periodically, eg monthly) Alternatively, you can choose to pay a daily payment for your accommodation at a cost of single Room $39.96 per day or Shared Room $37.60 per day

 

  1. Refundable accommodation deposit (paid as a lump sum) The maximum refundable accommodation deposit you will be charged is Single Room $220,000 or Shared Room $207,000 (option not required by Casson Homes )
  2. Combination of refundable accommodation deposit and daily payment You can also choose to pay a combination the refundable accommodation deposit and the daily accommodation payment. For example, if you were to pay a 50:50 split, your deposit will be no more than $220,000 and your daily payment will be $19.98 for a shared room charge (option not required by Casson Homes )

There are possibly three separate charges for you accommodation that makes up the true cost for residing in an aged care facility. They are all determined by the aged care provider, Department of Health and Ageing and Centrelink. Depending on your financially circumstances the government will subsidise your payment to us or request you to pay some or all of the costs.

The three costs are

  • A Daily Fee – determined by Department of Health and Ageing Residents Schedule of Fees and Charges
  • An Accommodation Payment (Formally known as an accommodation Charge/Bond)
  • Means Tested Fee – (Formerly know as an income tested fee)

Casson House is a not for profit facility that provides residential care for people who are living with a mental illness. Casson House is located in North Perth. It was purpose built in 1922 as a licensed psychiatric hostel and became a residential aged care service in late 90’s. Casson House has recently expanded its living environment with a new wing and new furniture and fittings throughout the home

The home includes single rooms and shared twin rooms with shared bathrooms. The home has common areas such as TV rooms, Quite Rooms, Dinning Areas, Activities Hall and Gymnasium  

We provide a range of services including

  • 24 hours care by registered  staff
  • Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse onsite
  • Mental Health Services – onsite
  • Medical Officers onsite and Telehealth
  • Occupational and Physiotherapy Individualized Programs
  • Hospitality Staff – Onsite Cooking by Qualified Cook
  • Centralized air conditioning

Woodville House is a non for profit facility that provides residential care for people who are living with a mental illness. Woodville House is located in Helena Valley WA. It was became operational in the late 80’s as licensed psychiatric hostel and became a residential aged care service in late 90’s. Woodville House is in the progress of expanding its living environment with single rooms and twin share,  new furniture and fittings throughout the home

The home currently  includes single rooms and shared twin rooms with shared bathrooms. The home has common areas such as TV rooms and Dining areas
